Soda club is an absolute gem! Incredible pasta, wine, and desserts. Every dish hits - It is one of our favorites in NYC. We usually order: - Castelvetrano Olives which are so so good and I am not an olive person. - Arancini which is so light and crispy on the outside and velvetty creamy inside - Bucatini my husband's favorite - Gigli my obsession with the creamy truffle sauce and crispy leeks! - Butternut gnocchi was a special we tried this time which was buttery, topped with sage. absolutely delicious! Last time we also bought the cannoli and date cake both I highly recommend! But with two appetizers and three pasta dishes we were so full and happy. They also were just awarded the Michelin Bib Gormand third year in a row. Highly recommend checking out Soda Club on your next visit to NYC!

One of my absolute favourite date night spots. I've only ever gone here for drinks and the server was so nice and friendly. Really nice selection of wine and the date cake was the real winner. One of the best I've had.

I really love this place for how cute and tiny it is, with only bar seating or two person tables. The menu is similar, without a ton of selections but with each offering being of great quality. Service was Good and I particularly loved their wine selection. We started with the Arancini, a must, an I had the fiochetti pasta. The portion was a bit small since I didn't eat all of the mushrooms on top. I also recommend getting a side of their focaccia. This is one of my go-to spots for using the In Kind app sand I Will definitely be back!

Great place for vegan pasta! Dishes are a bit on the smaller side, but definitely nice to order a bunch of pastas to share. We ordered 6 for 4 people and it was fun trying them all, really can't go wrong with any. Personal favorite was the gnocchi. The foccacia is also delicious and well done. Space is cozy and quite dark, but does add a nice ambiance.

Loved it! I'll be back. I came to celebrate my birthday and the restaurant made it very fun and special. My best friend and I did the 6 course pasta tasting and as someone who isn't vegan, I really liked the food. Our waiter was super kind and went out of his way to let us try a few wines to really decide what we wanted to drink for the evening. Overall a lovely experience!

A cozy East Village wine bar, with a friendly staff, specializing in pasta with tasty vegan cream-based sauces. Start your meal with the focaccia, then dive in with the tasting menu where you can try six pastas with a bottle of wine for $75pp. It's hard enough to choose one of the six on its own but with the addition of the wine bottle (up to a $60 value), the pasta tasting is the way to go. It includes: - Bucatini arrabbiata - Cappelletti with morels - Gigli on truffle cream sauce - Fiochetti with corn and maitake mushrooms - Ravioli with chanterelles - Tagliatelle with broccoli rabe Two pastas come at a time which are meant to be shared. The menu showcases different preparations of various mushrooms. And if you love truffle, like I do, two of the dishes were truffle-forward. Save room for dessert--the date cake cuts through the creamy sauces ending you on a high. Located just across Tompkins Square Park, the Soda Club is a perfect spot for a date night.

This place has been in my list since long. Another gem from Overthrow Hospitality!! Great Italian vegan place. We started with Arancini and glass of rose and cider. A couple of people have mentioned it is spicy but nope - it is not spicy. Great flavor. I just wished there could be some more sauce with it. For main course we ordered Gigli and Ravioli. Gigli is so amazing - given it has so less components but it still tastes great. The fried leek on top is a perfect addition. What a great pasta with so minimal ingredients. Ravioli is MUST have. Period! It is creamy, has the right amount of balance of everything. The ricotta filing is quite fresh. And it has some lemony flavor which brings out such a freshness to the dish. And we ended with much talked about Date cake and OMG what a great way to end the dinner. It is so yum, especially they used a bit of salt in the cake which cuts the over sweetness of this dessert. And the crumbly bed adds a crunch! The service was great. Ambiance is cozy.

Soda Club has possibly the best vegan food i've had. The fact that both every pasta is vegan and also every pasta is phenomenal is astounding. We did the pasta tasting with a party of 3 and it was the perfect amount of food, and a great way to taste each pasta. There were just no bad options. The ambiance was lovely and modern, very standard in vogue chic. Service was fine, they were busy and there were only 2 staff doing every role, so can't expect much more. would definitely recommend.

Natural wines and vegan food that you'd never know were vegan. Staff was knowledgeable and helped me choose wines to pair with our food. The space is dark and stylish, but the service is warm and friendly. Food was excellent. We didn't have the appetite for the tasting menu so we got two pasta dishes to share. Each was delicious, and the pasta texture was toothsome despite not having egg. I love mushrooms, so I made sure to choose dishes that had them. We got a salad as well and we're happy with that as well. I'd return next time I'm in NY, even with so many other choices to try.
